Joseph De Mario, visual artist and curator, graduated from UCLA and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He founded Bakery Art Exhibitions in 1999 and was Visual Art Curator at The Jazz Bakery until 2009.

He now lives in San Francisco where he is the co-owner of Art Curved Straight, LLC, a media consulting and production company. He is currently working on a new series of his photographs and producing a book on the early 1960s jazz photography of Ave Pildas with an essay by Kirk Silsbee.
